Warranty Service

Koubachi warrants the Physical Product, and only the Physical Product, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase - shown on the receipt - by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”).

Under this warranty, if a hardware defects arises and a valid claim is received by Koubachi within the Warranty Period, Koubachi undertakes, at its own expenses, to send the customer a product in good working order, which may be a replacement. Should the product be out of stock or impossible to repair, the Customer will be offered a replacement or refund of the initial product.

Instructions to obtain Warranty Service

Any return of the product under the above warranty must be with the prior agreement of Koubachi. In this context, the customer shall contact the Koubachi support (www.koubachi.com/support or email support@koubachi.com).

If it is accepted that the product is defective, Koubachi will issue a return form to the customer to coordinate the replacement or refund process respectively.

The customer must deliver the Product, freight prepaid, to the address specified by Koubachi. The return form must be be included with the returned Product. The risks of the return transport are borne exclusively be the customer. Koubachi advise you to send all items back with a transport firm which provides track & trace service.

The defective product must be returned in its original packaging, with all its parts and accessories. Any product, which is incomplete, damaged and/or the original packaging of which has deteriorated, will not be taken back or exchanged within the framework of the warranty.

The refund of the sale price will be carried out in the same manner as the original payment was made.

Exclusions and Limitations of Warranty Service

To benefit from the warranty, you must have purchased the product from Koubachi or from an authorized dealer. In the latter case, an invoice will be required with the warranty claim.

This warranty covers the normal and intended use of the Wi-Fi Plant Sensor.

The warranty does not apply to: (i) consumable parts, such as batteries, (ii) damage caused by excessive insertion force or water immersion (iii) damage caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, misapplication, (iv) damage caused by product alteration or modifications, improper or unauthorized repair, defects arising form actions by the customer, (v) damage caused by operating it outside the intended uses described by Koubachi, (vi) defects caused by normal wear und tear (e.g. scratches) or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product.
